Notice of Vacancy School Nurse Substitutes Special Education Summer Program Occasional
- Part-Time-As Needed

The Voorheesville Central School District is seeking occasional School Nurse substitutes to provide nursing care for the K-6 summer special education setting, as needed. Summer school hours are 8:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Monday
- Friday, July 6 through August 14, 2026. Rate is $85/day.

General Duties

Communicate with parents and staff regarding health needs and concerns.

Administer medication (as ordered by physician) according to regulations and policy, if needed.

Complete and file accident/incident reports as appropriate.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse.

Strong background in school nursing.

Excellent health, work habits, and employment attendance history.

Good college record and excellent references.

Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.

OSPRA fingerprint clearance required.
