This position as a Peri-Operative Registered Nurse requires delivery of vital nursing care throughout pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative stages. Acting as either a scrub nurse or circulating nurse, you will ensure the highest standards of patient care and collaboration with surgical teams, directly impacting overall patient health.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support patients through pre, intra, and post-operative care
• Function effectively as a scrub nurse or a circulating nurse
• Collaborate closely with surgical personnel
• Keep records precise and compliant with healthcare standards
• Hold and renew BLS certification yearly
Requirements:
• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Active Registered Nurse license in Ontario
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Completion of accredited Perioperative Nursing Certification Program
• At least 2 years of peri-operative experience in surgical settings
