Senior Health Nurse

Position: Senior Travel Health Nurse
Become a Senior Travel Health and Disability Management Advisor with the Canadian Red Cross in Ottawa, ON. This hybrid role focuses on health clearance, risk assessment, and providing critical support to personnel during travel.

As a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 6-9 years of experience, you will evaluate health risks related to travel, manage disability cases, and ensure safe travel practices. Your bilingual skills in English and French will enhance communication with diverse teams and stakeholders. You will also be integral in developing health promotion programs, monitoring accommodations, and preparing reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess health risks for travel destinations

• Provide guidance on vaccinations and preventive measures

• Facilitate accessibility to medical services

• Coordinate disability management and return-to-work planning

• Maintain accurate and confidential health records

Requirements:

• RN in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Bilingual in French and English

• 6-9 years RN experience with adult populations

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Knowledge of disability management principles
