Become a Registered Practical Nurse in our Substance Use and Concurrent Disorders program, supporting patients with mental health challenges. This role includes inpatient care and telemedicine services, tailored to client needs.
We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse who is a graduate of a recognized Practical Nursing Diploma Program. You will provide care for individuals with substance use and concurrent disorders while adhering to standards set by the College of Nurses of Ontario. Proficiency in CPR and a commitment to professional development are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver individualized nursing care for clients
• Conduct physical and mental health assessments
• Administer medications and maintain patient records
• Collaborate effectively in an interdisciplinary team
• Facilitate group therapy sessions as needed
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Two years of experience in psychiatric/mental health nursing preferred
• Knowledge of concurrent disorders and substance use
• CPR/AED Certification valid within the last two years
• Basic computer skills needed
