Position: Registered Nurse Evenings - Extendicare Medex

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Directors of Health and Wellness and Care to maintain care assessments and educational support for both residents and families. Your ability to delegate appropriately is crucial as you supervise care administration and coordinate nursing assignments for optimal service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct resident care assessments and documentation

• Coordinate and participate in care conferences

• Manage emergency responses and significant medical changes

• Order and administer medications in compliance with standards

• Foster a culture of ethics and integrity within the team

Requirements:

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse

• Experience working with seniors and care providers

• Strong communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills

• Ability to maintain competencies per College standards

• Current Vulnerable Position Screening within 6 months
