As a Registered Practical Nurse at CHEO, you will work both independently and with a multidisciplinary team. This position involves patient assessments, coordinating care, and implementing education resources for families. You will actively participate in triaging clients and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patients and collect relevant clinical data
• Support children with physical and developmental disabilities
• Develop and implement educational resources
• Coordinate with community service providers
• Teach and counsel clients and families in person or via phone
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses in Ontario
• Vulnerable Sector Check essential
• BCLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years pediatric experience preferred
• Bilingual in French and English essential
