Become a vital part of The Royal as a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. This role focuses on assessments, collaborative care, and evidence-based treatment strategies.
The Royal is looking for a Nurse Practitioner dedicated to mental health with a minimum of five years' experience. You will conduct thorough assessments, develop suitable treatment plans, and monitor medication effects while collaborating with various health professionals.
Your role also includes advocating for safe client care through adherence to legal and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine physical and mental health assessments
• Develop and implement care plans for patients
• Monitor psychopharmacological medication effects
• Collaborate with teams for preventative care solutions
• Lead consultative endeavors for additional healthcare support
Requirements:
• A Master’s degree in nursing or relevant certification
• 5+ years of practical nursing experience
• Registered Nurse in Ontario (Extended Class)
• Specialty certification as Nurse Practitioner
• Proficiency in English communication skills
