In your role as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), you will provide essential, goal-directed nursing care tailored to the needs of our residents. Your expertise in gerontology and teamwork will be vital as you collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to implement and assess care plans. Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver customized nursing care based on patient goals
• Regularly evaluate care plans and implement necessary changes
• Complete and oversee clinical care assessments
• Mentor unregulated care providers in best practices
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
Requirements:
• Valid RPN registration in the province
• Sound clinical knowledge and experience with seniors
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Strong written and oral communication abilities
• Willingness to undergo a Vulnerable Sector Check
