Our program is looking for a Registered Practical Nurse who has graduated from a recognized Diploma Program and is registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario. This position requires knowledge of CNO Standards and relevant legislation, along with commitment to ongoing professional development and technical nursing skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer vital signs and other patient assessments
• Support therapeutic relations and group activities
• Ensure safe medication administration and wound care
• Utilize technical skills in patient handling and assessment
• Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Familiarity with substance use disorders and withdrawal signs
• Two years of recent experience in mental health nursing preferred
• CPR/AED Certification within two years
• Strong basic computer skills required
