Join the Kemptville District Hospital team as a Registered Practical Nurse in the Emergency Department. This temporary part-time role offers competitive wages and a supportive work environment.
KDH is seeking a dedicated RPN to work part-time in our Emergency Department. Ideal candidates will hold a Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and possess recent ER nursing experience. We value skills like venipuncture and communication, providing a chance to impact patient care in a rural setting with many amenities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide patient care in the Emergency Department
• Assist in various nursing procedures and treatments
• Maintain accurate medical documentation
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
• Participate in internal training and development
Requirements:
• Current RPN registration with Ontario's College of Nurses
• Minimum 1-year recent ER nursing experience
• Competency in venipuncture and IV cannulation
• Certification in BCLS required; ACLS an asset
• Strong communication and computer skills
