Foot Care Nurse
Registered Practical Nurse – Permanent Part‑Time 0.5 FTE (35 hrs every 2 weeks)

Salary: $27.76/hr - $32.73/hr plus a comprehensive compensation package that includes time‑off entitlements, health benefits, life insurance, and participation in the HOOPP pension plan.

What You’ll DoReporting to the Manager of Primary Health Care, the Foot Care Nurse works as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide foot care in conjunction with our Chiropodist and practitioners to enhance client quality of life through proactive lower limb assessment and evidence‑based nursing interventions.
Responsibilities- Footcare assessments
- Nail and skin care
- Preventative client education
- Infection Control and sterilization
Life and Work Experience
- Two‑to‑three years’ of foot care nursing experience
- Previous clinic experience an asset
- Previous experience using an EMR, preferably Practice Solutions Suite (PSS)
- Knowledge of infection prevention and control (IPAC) practices and reprocessing of instruments
Education Path
- Current license with the College of Nurses of Ontario (RPN)
- Proof of footcare certification
- Current CPR (preferred) training
Required Language
- Fluency in English required
- Working knowledge of French or other languages an asset

- Experience working with disadvantaged communities
- Knowledge of footcare related to Primary Care, Community Health, Chronic Disease Management
