Part-Time Foot Care Nurse Position

Elevate your nursing career as a Foot Care Nurse with Somerset West Community Health Centre, providing essential foot care and client education. This permanent part-time role supports lower limb assessments and interventions within a collaborative healthcare team.

Reporting to the Manager of Primary Health Care, you will contribute to improving client quality of life through proactive nursing actions. This position requires two to three years of foot care experience, with knowledge in infection control and EMR systems being essential. You'll be working alongside chiropodists and other healthcare practitioners as a vital part of the interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive footcare assessments

• Provide nail and skin care for clients

• Educate clients on preventative foot care measures

• Ensure infection control and sterilization practices

Requirements:

• Two to three years of foot care nursing experience

• Current RPN license with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Proof of foot care certification

• CPR training preferred

• Fluency in English; other languages an asset
