Join the Assertive Community Treatment Team as a Temporary Registered Nurse, focusing on delivering mental health care in community settings. Engage with clients to promote recovery and improve their quality of life.
This temporary full-time Registered Nurse role extends until May 2027. You will conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, develop tailored care plans, and administer treatments. Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary team members will ensure coordinated care and effective crisis intervention for clients with severe mental illnesses.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough nursing assessments regularly
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans
• Administer medications and educate clients on health
• Provide crisis intervention and client support
• Document nursing activities and client progress accurately
Requirements:
• Current RN registration with College of Nurses of Ontario
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent
• Experience in mental health or community health nursing
• Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle access
