Location: Petawawa
Join Bayshore Medical Personnel as a part-time Conscious Sedation Registered Nurse in Petawawa. Enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule with daytime shifts only.
We are currently hiring a motivated RN with a minimum of one year experience in conscious sedation. You'll be integral to a dental clinic team, responsible for pre-operation care, sedation administration, and ongoing patient monitoring. Your expertise will ensure safe and effective patient experiences throughout their procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with pre-operation care and patient teaching
• Maintain parenteral conscious sedation during procedures
• Conduct continuous assessments of cardiac and respiratory status
• Monitor post-operative complications and manage patient needs
• Safely discharge patients after procedures
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse Diploma or Baccalaureate Degree
• Valid RN license and Basic Life Support certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required
• 1 year equivalent nursing experience with sedation
• Current N95 fit certificate and WHMIS certification
