As a critical part of the multidisciplinary team at CHEO, you will assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care for children and youth. This role emphasizes the importance of medication administration, patient monitoring, and emotional support for families. You’ll also engage with health professionals to provide integrated care for patients with asthma and other respiratory issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patient conditions with lab results and vital signs
• Administer medications and triage new referrals
• Provide emotional support to families and guidance for procedures
• Maintain clinic documentation per CHEO policies
• Order supplies and maintain equipment functionality
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses in Ontario
• BCLS certification and medication administration course
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English
• Two years pediatric experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
