Compensation: $27.76/hr - $32.73/hr plus a comprehensive compensation package that includes time‑off entitlements, health benefits, life insurance, and participation in the HOOPP pension plan.

Reporting to the Manager of Primary Health Care the Footcare Nurse works as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide foot care in conjunction with our Chiropodist and practitioners to enhance client quality of life through proactive lower limb assessment and evidence‑based nursing interventions.

• Two‑three years’ of foot care nursing experience
• Previous clinic experience an asset
• Previous experience using an EMR, preferably Practice Solutions Suite (PSS)
• Knowledge of infection prevention and control (IPAC) practices and reprocessing of instruments

• Current license with the College of Nurses of Ontario (RPN)
• Proof of footcare certification
• Current CPR (preferred) Training

• Fluency in English required
• Working knowledge of French or other languages an asset

• Knowledge of primary health care and the social determinants of health
• Able to work effectively in an inter‑professional environment
• Knowledge and awareness related to cultural competence
• Experience working with disadvantaged communities
• Knowledge of footcare related to Primary Care, Community Health, Chronic Disease Management

As our Footcare Nurse your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Nail and skin care
• Preventative client education
• Infection Control and sterilization
