Become a vital part of child care at SE Health and CHEO as a School Nurse (RPN). Deliver nursing care in school and home settings with flexible hours and competitive pay.
This full-time or part-time position allows you to work collaboratively in a caring environment. You will assess clients, develop care plans, and support transitions to community services.
Your role is crucial in promoting evidence-informed practices, enhancing children’s health outcomes while maintaining a low caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete client assessments and develop tailored care plans
• Provide leadership for caseload coordination
• Facilitate connections to necessary community support
• Evaluate and implement care based on best practices
• Foster collaboration within the health care team
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses Ontario required
• Experience or certification from the Canadian Nurses Association is a plus
• Excellent time-management and communication skills needed
• Current CPR certification and updated immunizations required
• Ability to travel and move frequently as needed
