Registered Practical Nurse - Foot Care

Somerset West Community Health Centre seeks a Foot Care Nurse to join their Primary Health Care team in a rewarding part-time role. Utilize your skills in footcare assessments and client education to enhance quality of life for clients.

In this permanent part-time position, you will work collaboratively with chiropodists and other health practitioners.

Your role will require a solid background in foot care nursing and knowledge of infection prevention practices. Previous clinic experience is an asset, and you'll engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, especially those needing additional support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough footcare assessments for clients

• Manage nail and skin care efficiently

• Provide preventative education on foot health

• Implement effective infection control measures

Requirements:

• Two to three years of relevant foot care experience

• Active RPN license with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Foot care certification required

• Preferred CPR training

• Strong English fluency; knowledge of French beneficial
