CHEO, a recognized leader in pediatric healthcare, is looking for a Registered Practical Nurse. This position emphasizes assessing, planning, and implementing care for children and families, using the nursing process effectively. Candidates with a minimum of two years of experience in pediatric nursing are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and evaluate nursing care for individual patients
• Implement plans for wellness and optimal quality of life
• Educate patients and families on health management
• Maintain professional standards as per regulatory guidelines
• Work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
Requirements:
• Current Certification of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum two years' experience with pediatric patients
• Current CPR Certification
• Evidence of culturally sensitive care practices
• Bilingual in English and French preferred
