Kemptville District Hospital is looking for Registered Practical Nurses to join our Medical/Surgical team temporarily. Candidates should have a current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and BCLS certification. Experience in orthopedic and medical/surgical nursing is preferred, and you will have opportunities for internal cross-training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver quality patient care in the Medical/Surgical unit

• Assist with total knee replacement procedures and nursing tasks

• Provide support during patient recovery and rehabilitation

• Collaborate with healthcare team and contribute feedback in meetings

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Requirements:

• Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Current BCLS certification and 2 years orthopedic experience preferred

• 3-5 years recent medical/surgical experience preferred

• Basic computer knowledge required

• Strong attendance and positive work performance
