Nurse Practitioner Youth Psychiatry Program

This regular part-time position (0.4 FTE) at one of Canada's leading mental health facilities requires a Master's degree in nursing and a minimum of five years of experience. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to young patients. Your expertise will significantly contribute to transforming lives through effective mental healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive mental and physical assessments for patients
• Collaborate on pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions
• Monitor medical complications related to medication use
• Conduct routine physical health reviews and ongoing assessments
• Advocate for safe client care with interdisciplinary teams
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in nursing or relevant specialty certification
• Minimum 5 years of practical nursing experience
• Current registration as a Nurse in Ontario (Extended Class)
• Demonstrated achievement of Nurse Practitioner competencies
• Excellent written and communication skills in English
