Advance your nursing career with Royal Drugs in Ottawa as a Registered Practical Nurse. This part-time role includes assisting with medical procedures and follow-up care while traveling to nearby clinics.
In this role, you will provide patient care by assisting with injections and interacting directly with customers. Ensure safe sterile preparations and collaborate with Retina Specialists to uphold the highest quality of care. You'll also be responsible for managing medication inventory effectively and communicating with pharmacy staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sterile preparations for intravitreal injections in clinics
• Administer required drops and topical anesthetics
• Provide detailed post-care instructions to patients
• Work closely with Retina Specialists during procedures
• Maintain inventory management of medications and supplies
Requirements:
• Must be a Registered Practical Nurse in Ontario
• Knowledge of pharmacy or healthcare is advantageous
• Driver's license and personal vehicle for travel obligations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills for administrative tasks
