The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a key role in delivering patient-centered care within their scope of practice. You will work alongside healthcare professionals to provide safe and effective nursing care while supporting patients in achieving optimal health outcomes. This position requires excellent communication, critical thinking skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide compassionate patient-centered nursing care
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on care plans
• Support patients through discharge planning
• Communicate effectively with patients and families
• Teach relevant nursing practices and unit skills
Requirements:
• LPN certification in Yukon Territory
• Minimum 6 months acute care nursing experience
• Diploma in Practical Nursing from Canadian institution
• Current C.P.R. Certification
• Experience with Meditech Expanse preferred
