Assist nursing students at the University of Ottawa as a Teaching Assistant for clinical courses during the Fall 2026 semester. Engage with students, support learning plans, and facilitate evaluations.
The Faculty of Health Sciences is seeking ten Teaching Assistants for clinical nursing courses at Main Campus. Candidates must be graduate nursing students with a valid RN license and fluency in English. Responsibilities include meeting with students to review and explain assignments, assisting with clinical instructor tasks, and preparing learning materials.
Key Responsibilities:
• Verify student assignments and help with evaluations
• Meet with students to address academic difficulties
• Support the clinical instructor with learning plans
• Prepare course materials and assist in planning
• Collaborate on post-conference assistance with instructors
Requirements:
• Graduate student in nursing with RN license
• Fluent in English for effective communication
• Must be based in Ottawa for the role
• Ability to adapt to potential online teaching
• Willingness to complete mandatory university training
