Director of Quality & Risk at Southbridge

Enhance nursing services as the Director of Quality & Risk for Southbridge Care Homes in Ottawa. This full-time role focuses on quality improvement and risk management to support exceptional resident care.

In this position, you will report directly to the Director of Care and assist in overseeing nursing services. Your key responsibilities include implementing quality initiatives, managing risk systems, and maintaining best practices in geriatric care. With at least three years of long-term care experience, you will guide an interdisciplinary team and ensure accurate assessments and planning for resident care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement quality improvement and risk management initiatives

• Lead best practice programs for resident care

• Monitor nursing supply utilization

• Oversee the High Intensity Needs program

• Investigate occupational health and safety issues

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with Ontario's College of Nurses

• Minimum three years in long-term care

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and clinical software

• Flexibility for on-call rotation
