Empower resident well-being in the role of Registered Practical Nurse with Power Staffing Solutions in Orleans, Ontario. Work on the night shift to provide high-quality, individualized nursing care.
As a dedicated RPN, your focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for residents while collaborating closely with your healthcare team. You will be responsible for monitoring health, documenting care, and ensuring compliance with long-term care standards. Supervision of Personal Support Workers will also be key.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver evidence-based nursing care according to care plans
• Administer medications and treatments with accurate documentation
• Monitor health changes and communicate effectively
• Collaborate on resident assessments and care plans
• Oversee and mentor Personal Support Workers (PSWs)
Requirements:
• Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with valid CNO registration
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience in long-term care
• Current CPR certification required
• Familiarity with RAI-MDS and AIS preferable
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
