Director of Nursing at Providence Manor

Lead nursing excellence at Providence Manor as the Director of Nursing and Personal Care. Oversee resident care and clinical quality in a supportive, temporary full-time role.

Reporting to the Administrator, the Director of Nursing is responsible for operational leadership in nursing and personal care services at Providence Manor. This position requires a Registered Nurse with strong experience in long-term care, achieving key clinical outcomes, and overseeing nursing staff. You will maintain compliance with legislation and foster quality care for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain effective care plans for residents

• Achieve clinical outcomes and resident satisfaction targets

• Lead nursing operations in the administrator's absence

• Ensure compliance with legislative standards and policies

• Oversee medication management and nursing practices

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• BScN required; master's preferred

• 5 years in progressive long-term care leadership

• Experience with interdisciplinary teams in a unionized environment

• Strong management of compliance and quality improvement
