As a Unit Nurse, your role involves day-to-day supervision of staff and ensuring a seamless flow of resident care. You'll implement nursing processes, maintain communication with families, and oversee Personal Support Workers, ensuring top-notch healthcare delivery. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform nursing functions per College of Nurses standards
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and family communications
• Implement and evaluate nursing processes effectively
• Supervise Personal Support Workers in their tasks
• Ensure sufficient nursing supplies and medication control
Requirements:
• Current Certificate of Competence from College of Nurses Ontario
• CPR Certificate and strong leadership skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving and customer service skills
• Experience in nursing preferred
• Satisfactory police vulnerable sector check
