The role focuses on delivering professional nursing care in a collaborative environment. As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will work alongside RNs and the clinical team to develop individualized care plans for patients. You will leverage your recent experience in acute psychiatric settings and ensure adherence to prescribed medical regimes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete nursing history with patient and family input
• Develop goal-oriented nursing care plans collaboratively
• Perform interventions and manage their outcomes
• Accurately adhere to prescribed medical plans
• Re-assess patient care plans based on evaluation
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Recent acute psychiatric experience required
• Valid CPR certification necessary
