Healthcare Leadership: Director of Care

Join Southbridge Ottawa as the Director of Care, leading high-quality nursing and personal care services. Drive excellence in resident care and compliance in this full-time role located in Nepean, Ontario.

As a key leader, you will be responsible for directing clinical programs and nursing staff, ensuring comprehensive resident care plans. You'll also oversee compliance with the Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021 and facilitate collaboration with medical teams and resident councils.

Your role will impact the quality of life for residents through effective care management and proactive clinical oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage nursing staff and clinical programs

• Implement and review care plans for residents

• Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations

• Oversee clinical quality improvement initiatives

• Act as a clinical representative for family councils

Requirements:

• Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• At least 5 years of nursing experience

• Experience in leadership and supervisory roles

• Current BLS/CPR certification

• Police reference check with vulnerable sector focus
