Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish togetherThe nurse will be responsible for providing vaccination during the annual flu campaign from October through December. Working with a customer service oriented team, you will provide a rewarding patient experience with empathy, discretion and professionalism.
Here’s How Responsibilities include- Administer influenza vaccines to patients
- Informing patients of the side effects of vaccination
- Implementing emergency measures, as required
- Compile and inventory vaccines administered
- In depth knowledge of current guidelines, practice standards and medical directives
- Provide quality, safe, compassionate care to all clients
- Communicate and work effectively with all other members of the interdisciplinary team
- Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
- Positive and results focused attitude
Ability to take initiative and demonstrate proactive/preventative approaches to care
You are the missing piece of the puzzle with
- BN or BScN - Required
- Current registration and license in good standing with the applicable provincial nursing regulatory body (e.g., CNO, CRNA, or BCCNM)
- CPR certification up to date
- Minimum of 3 years nursing experience (private or public sector)
- Ready to travel to the client site
- Valid driver’s license and have access to a car
- Interest in customer service and a corporate work environment
- Professionalism and strong judgment
- Assiduity, autonomy, punctuality, discretion, interpersonal skills
- Ability to make decisions
- ACLS certification
- Previous experience in primary care or acute care is an asset
- Computer skills are an asset (EMR, Power Point, Excel, Word)
