As a crucial part of the nursing team, the Registered Practical Nurse will work directly with fertility patients, ensuring they receive the appropriate medication as prescribed by the Medical Director. You will facilitate communication between patients and physicians, maintain patient confidentiality, and manage prescription orders, all while maintaining a compassionate approach to care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Meet with patients to implement medication protocols
• Facilitate communication between patients and physicians
• Manage medication inventory and record keeping
• Schedule and assist with various fertility procedures
• Provide education during IVF, FET, and IUI cycles
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• BCLS certification preferred
• 2-3 years in medical/surgical or fertility care
• Experience in women’s healthcare preferred
• Strong communication and analytical skills
