At CHEO, you’ll engage as a critical care nurse, dedicated to supporting critically ill pediatric patients aged 0-18. This role requires a strong background in pediatric acute care or critical care nursing with at least 2 years of experience. You will be responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating nursing care while utilizing advanced treatment modalities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for complex pediatric patients

• Assess and evaluate patient conditions in real time

• Utilize advanced technologies in NICU and PICU settings

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes

• Educate patients and families about health management

Requirements:

• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or equivalent

• Current Ontario nursing registration

• Minimum 2 years of pediatric or critical care experience

• Current PALS and CPR certifications

• Strong communication skills and family-centered care approach
