Lakeridge Health is seeking Nursing students currently enrolled in accredited programs for its Clinical Extern Program. This unique opportunity allows students to work alongside nursing teams, gaining invaluable experience in patient care. You'll assist registered nurses while adhering to strict confidentiality and promoting a positive experience for patients and families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work under the supervision of a designated Staff Nurse
• Assist with fundamental patient care duties
• Support the nursing team at the patient care level
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information
• Contribute to a positive patient and family experience
Requirements:
• Enrolled in an accredited School of Nursing
• Completion of health assessment course required
• Current BCLS certification
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts
