Part Time Registered Nurse at Extendicare

Extendicare is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for part-time care. Provide key resident care, medication administration, and documentation in line with our health and wellness standards.

As a Registered Nurse at Extendicare, you will report to the Director of Health and Wellness. The role encompasses crucial responsibilities such as coordinating resident care assessments and managing medication administration. You'll work closely with the care team, facilitating transfers and ensuring residents receive the best quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete and update resident care assessments and service plans

• Schedule and participate in resident care conferences

• Supervise medication safety and administration by team members

• Coordinate care plans with interdisciplinary teams

• Respond to medical emergencies and resident condition changes

Requirements:

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse

• Experience in gerontology or long-term care

• Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills

• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks

• Current Vulnerable Position Screening (VPS)
