Carlingwood Retirement is part of Riverstone Retirement Communities, seeking a Director of Nursing Services. This role requires a committed Registered Nurse with significant experience in the retirement sector and strong leadership abilities. You'll be responsible for planning and implementing care strategies, ensuring regulatory adherence, and driving staff development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and enhance resident care standards
• Supervise, hire, and evaluate nursing staff
• Manage nursing budget in alignment with policies
• Facilitate communication about residents’ health changes
• Conduct QA audits for ongoing quality improvement
Requirements:
• Must be a Registered Nurse with Ontario registration
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification essential
• Minimum three years of experience in related fields
• Knowledge of MS Office, Yardi software
• Bilingualism in French and English is an advantage
