This role combines clinical assessment, medication management, and therapeutic interventions aimed at individuals with severe mental health issues. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure clients receive comprehensive, individualized care, fostering their social integration and overall well-being. Your efforts will help decrease hospitalizations and promote community stability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments of client health
• Oversee medication administration and monitor effects
• Collaborate with team to tailor care plans
• Provide crisis intervention support as needed
• Educate clients and families about mental health
Requirements:
• Current registration as a Registered Nurse in Canada
• BScN or equivalent nursing qualifications
• Minimum two years of community or mental health experience
• CPR certification and necessary immunizations
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Utilize your nursing skills to foster recovery and independence in community settings.
