Position: Registered Nurse – OR – Temporary Full-Time – ONA 2026-18

We currently have an opportunity available for a  Temporary Full-Time RN in our Operating Room

Hourly Rate: $41.15 – $58.98 (effective April 1, 2026)

Qualifications:

Registered Nurse (BScN), Bachelor Nursing or Diploma in Nursing

Current Certificate of Competence from College of Nurses of Ontario

Operating Room Certification and experience

1-3 years of recovery room, acute care, ICU or ED experience

Current BCLS, ACLS and N95 mask fit

Coronary care course and /or critical care course preferred

Computer competency (Meditech/EPIC and order entry)

Ability to assume leadership/supervisory and teaching roles

Demonstrated effective interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills

Proven ability in independent and collaborative decision making

Critical analysis skills

Commitment to continued education related to position
