Bridlewood Trails Retirement Community seeks a qualified Casual Registered Practical Nurse. Applicants should hold current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and possess recent CPR and First Aid certifications. The role emphasizes a strong background in geriatric care, contributing to personalized health care plans and monitoring residents diligently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning and evaluating resident care
• Deliver shift reports at start and end of shifts
• Perform ongoing nursing assessments of residents
• Monitor residents’ physical and emotional well-being
• Administer and supervise medication as directed
Requirements:
• Current registration in good standing with College of Nurses
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Minimum two years’ experience, preferably with seniors
• Strong supervisory and emergency management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
