Military Health Services seeks a committed nurse with three years of experience to provide specialized mental health care. In this role, you'll conduct assessments, create individualized care plans, and deliver effective counseling using proven techniques such as CBT and DVT. You will play a crucial role in both crisis situations and therapeutic environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and diagnose mental health conditions
• Develop and execute comprehensive care plans
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions
• Implement crisis intervention strategies effectively
• Manage medications with a patient-centered approach
Requirements:
• Three years of experience in mental health nursing
• Degree in Nursing with mental health certification
• RN license from Ontario regulatory body
• BLS or CPR/AED Level C certification
• Fluent in English and French for patient engagement
