$41.15/hour-$58.98/hour

The incumbent is responsible for providing quality-nursing care to patients on the Medical/Surgical Unit. The incumbent will assume responsibilities as designated.

• Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Current A.C.L.S. and Coronary Care Certificateor willingness to attain at own expense within six (6) months.
• Minimum of one (1) year acute care experience inan active treatment setting.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuing education.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Nursing Processand the Standards of Nursing Practice of the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Demonstrated excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently attimes without supervision.
• Demonstrates good assessment, judgement,decision-making and documentation skills.
