Part-Time Nurse at Algonquin College

The part-time nurse will report to the Manager of Health Services and provide non-emergency and emergency care, health counseling, and assist in physician clinics. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide health care and counseling to students and staff

• Maintain confidential health records accurately

• Assist in facilitating physicians' clinics

• Manage organizational needs of the medical office

• Perform necessary emergency nursing duties

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent

• Certificate of Competence from the Ontario College of Nurses

• Minimum five years nursing experience, preferably in family practice

• Phlebotomy and EMR experience required

• CPR and TB Screening training necessary
