The Ottawa Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse with two years of critical care nursing experience. You will apply the nursing process, assess patient learning needs, plan teaching, and provide general patient care in a clinical setting. The position requires autonomous practice within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:- Apply the nursing process to daily nursing practice
- Assess patient learning needs and plan appropriate teaching
- Provide general patient care within the unit
- Work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team
- Participate actively in departmental educational activities
- Certificate of registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Two years of critical care nursing experience
- Advanced oral and comprehension proficiency in English and French
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional and respectful attitude toward patients and colleagues
