Part Time Registered Practical Nurse

Support resident care as a Part Time Registered Practical Nurse at Southbridge Cornwall LTC in Cornwall, ON, administering medications and treatments.

Reporting to the Director of Care, the RPN supports long-term care residents through assessments, care planning, and multidisciplinary collaboration. The position follows College of Nurses of Ontario Standards, Long-Term Care Standards, and Southbridge Care Homes Standards while applying nursing and infection control knowledge.

• Administer medications, treatments, and assessments for residents
• Observe, report, and record vital signs and conditions
• Develop, implement, review, and evaluate resident care plans
• Process physician orders and assess referral needs
• Supervise nursing and personal care staff assignments

• Current College of Nurses of Ontario certificate of competence
• Registration or eligibility with Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario
• Current First Aid and BLS Certificate
• Knowledge of nursing, healthcare, and infection control practices
• Negative vulnerable sector check and completed two-step TB test
