Reporting to the Director of Care, the Registered Nurse provides high-quality resident care at Sienna Senior Living. The position includes assessing resident needs, planning care, delivering skilled procedures, administering medications, and completing documentation. You will collaborate with residents, substitute decision makers, and interdisciplinary teams while supporting nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess resident needs and develop individualized plans of care
- Deliver skilled procedures and administer medications safely
- Document care according to quality and legislative requirements
- Collaborate with residents and substitute decision makers
- Teach nursing and personal support team members new skills
- Hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent
- Maintain current Registered Nurse registration with the appropriate provincial college
- Understand nursing processes and geriatric care developments
- Demonstrate English communication, computer, administrative, and teamwork skills
- Pass required TB, criminal record, and vulnerable sector checks
