Become a Dog Care Attendant at CNIB's Canine Campus, providing quality care for dogs. This role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and supporting canine health initiatives.

As a Dog Care Attendant, you will be crucial in delivering daily care and monitoring for dogs and puppies at the CNIB Canine Campus. This includes rigorous health checks, engaging in enrichment activities, and maintaining a clean environment for the dogs in care. Your contributions will enhance the well-being of the dogs while promoting the mission of CNIB Guide Dogs to the public.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with kennel maintenance and cleanliness tasks

• Administer health treatments and monitor behavior

• Record observations in dog care management system

• Prepare dogs for intake and exit processes

• Support enrichment and training initiatives

Requirements:

• Knowledge of dog behavior and care

• Proficient dog handling skills, including large breeds

• H.S. diploma and valid driving license required

• Ability to communicate effectively in English

• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
