The Lead Privacy Officer is crucial in ensuring compliance with privacy legislation and overseeing the administration of freedom of information requests. Your responsibilities will include investigating breaches, conducting privacy impact assessments, and delivering training programs to maintain high standards in privacy protocols. Interfacing with various stakeholders, you will guide the organization in navigating complex privacy landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead investigations and responses to privacy breaches
• Implement and evaluate privacy training for staff
• Conduct thorough privacy impact assessments
• Coordinate freedom of information activities
• Engage with external partners on privacy compliance
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field such as Health Administration
• Five years of policy development experience
• Leadership experience with project management
• In-depth understanding of provincial privacy laws
• Proven ability to build collaborative relationships
