Overview
- Quality Assurance, Quality Control Technician
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Pay Range (DOE): $25–$28/hr or $50,000–$60,000/year (CAD)
- The Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC) Technician plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity, consistency, and compliance of our products and processes. This position supports inspections, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts to ensure our products meet both internal specifications and external regulatory standards
- You’ll collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Service, and Shipping teams to help deliver the highest level of quality to our customers
- Evaluate parts and components identified as non-compliant by the field team and perform minor repairs.
- Perform functional testing and verification of equipment before shipment or release
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results, test data, and non-conformances
- Support root cause analysis and assist with corrective actions
- Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve product/process discrepancies
- Ensure proper calibration and use of inspection tools, gauges, and test equipment
- Assist in developing and maintaining quality procedures, work instructions, and inspection criteria
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality control standards, and industry guidelines
- Resolve non-conformance issues and implement changes as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required (technical training or certification in quality/manufacturing is a plus)
- At least 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within a gritty industrial manufacturing or production environment is required
- Familiarity with inspection tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and specifications
- Experience interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Working knowledge of quality systems and standards (such as ISO 9001) and documentation practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with quality or manufacturing software systems preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing and warehouse-based environment with regular production floor interaction
- Ability to perform manual labor, stand for 8 hours, and lift up to 50 lbs
- May involve occasional exposure to chemicals, machinery, and equipment under standard safety conditions
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
- Regular interaction with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Shipping
