At Wills Transfer Limited, we provide warehousing, logistics and 3PL solutions that support customers operating in highly regulated environments. The Quality Assurance role is responsible for supporting and advancing quality programs across regulated warehouse and logistics operations, with an initial focus on Healthcare GMP compliance (Pharma, Med Device, NHP) with the ability to support additional customer or industry standards such as food safety, SQF, and other regulated supply chain requirements.

We are open to candidates ranging from early-career Quality Associates through experienced Quality Managers
, and responsibilities will be aligned with experience and demonstrated capability.

Position Summary

The Quality Assurance role is responsible for supporting and advancing quality programs across regulated warehouse and logistics operations to ensure compliance with applicable Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP), customer requirements, internal quality standards, and applicable regulatory expectations.

This role works closely with Operations, Customer Experience, Inventory Control, Training, and Leadership teams to maintain quality systems, support continuous improvement, and ensure products are stored, handled, and distributed in accordance with Health Canada GMP requirements.

Depending on experience, this role may operate as an individual contributor or provide leadership over quality initiatives and future team growth.

What You’ll Be Responsible For Quality Systems & Compliance
  • Support and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) processes and documentation.
  • Develop, review, and manage SOPs, work instructions, and controlled documents.
  • Participate in quality risk assessments and process improvements.
  • Support implementation and maintenance of GMP/GDP and customer-specific requirements.
  • Monitor compliance with warehouse quality procedures and operational controls.
Audit & Inspection Readiness
  • Support internal and external audits including customer, regulatory, and certification audits.
  • Track findings and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Lead or support root cause investigations and effectiveness checks.
Operational Quality Oversight
  • Ensure compliant receiving, storage, inventory handling, picking, and distribution activities.
  • Support environmental monitoring and warehouse condition controls where applicable.
  • Participate in deviation, non-conformance, complaint, and change control processes.
Training & Culture
  • Promote quality awareness throughout operations.
  • Deliver or coordinate GMP/GDP and quality training.
  • Support leaders in reinforcing a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Track and report quality KPIs.
  • Identify trends and opportunities to improve quality performance and customer outcomes.
  • Support implementation of best practices and scalable quality processes.
What We’re Looking For Required
  • Post-secondary education in Quality, Science, Life Sciences, Supply Chain, Engineering, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or related field.
  • Experience in regulated warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, food, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or 3PL environment, with exposure to GMP/GDP, SQF, HACCP, ISO, or similar quality systems.
  • Working knowledge of quality systems and document control.
  • Strong attention to detail and investigative/problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and/or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
Preferred
  • Experience supporting quality activities within warehouse, logistics, distribution, or 3PL operations.
  • Exposure to: GMP / GDP requirements, CAPA, Change Control, Deviation Management, Internal Auditing, Validation concepts, Regulatory/customer inspections.
