Position: Chalk River Industrial Hygiene Technician Role

Join CNL as an Industrial Hygiene Technician in Chalk River and enhance workplace safety. Conduct assessments and sampling to ensure compliance while contributing to continuous improvement.

In this role, you will perform essential tasks such as evaluating physical, chemical, and biological hazards. Your work will involve sampling for various stressors and collaborating with Occupational Health and Safety Specialists. You'll also prepare comprehensive reports and help develop training content to promote IH awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct hazard assessments across workplace environments

• Perform field sampling and accurate data documentation

• Maintain hygiene monitoring equipment and ensure proper function

• Prepare detailed survey reports with recommendations

• Participate in inspections and audits for compliance

Requirements:

• Background in industrial hygiene, health sciences, or equivalent

• Three years of related field experience preferred

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Familiarity with technical report writing

• Security clearance eligibility required for site access
